The course will be an introduction to independence proofs in set theory. We will present some of the basic results in this area of mathematics, as well as some typical methods used in the proofs of these theorems. The central idea is to provide a complete proof of the independence of the continuum hypothesis. The course will be held on Wednesdays (starting February 22) in February, March and April.
